Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum Signage

Connecting Atlanta’s living past, present, and future.

Arboretum (n): A botanical garden focused on trees, which are grown for research, education, and display.

For Trees Atlanta, I managed 85 acres of linear greenspace along 13 miles of the Atlanta BeltLine trail corridor. I developed permanent interpretive signage as part of the Arboretum, highlighting unique aspects of Georgia’s ecology.

My roles involved:

  • Signage planning and partner coordination

  • Developing signage concept

  • Assigning content writing to staff member Kelly Coles

  • Editing copy

  • Managing graphics development

  • Managing contractors and vendors (graphic designer, signage vendor)

  • Mapping signage

*All work was completed while employed at Trees Atlanta, 2019-2020
